Become Part of Our Invitational Team!

At Gray’s Mountain Studio, we believe there’s always something new to learn—and that’s part of what keeps photography exciting!

Throughout the year, we experiment with new equipment, lighting techniques, backgrounds, sets, posing ideas, and other creative concepts. Our Invitational Sessions give us a chance to put those ideas to the test, and we’d love for you to be part of the fun!

What Is an Invitational Session?

Invitational Team Members serve as our test subjects while we experiment, practice, and fine-tune new ideas. Some sessions may focus on a new light or lens, while others might involve a new background, prop, set, or photographic technique.

Because these are practice sessions, they’re designed to be fun, relaxed, and a little experimental. Sometimes we know exactly what we want to try—and other times, we simply see where the creativity takes us!

Our Thank-You to You

As a thank-you for giving us your time and helping us improve our craft, you'll typically receive:

📸 One professionally finished 8×10 portrait from your session
📸 Approximately 6–10 social media images to share with family and friends

And there's absolutely no pressure to purchase anything. Most of our Invitational participants simply enjoy the experience and their complimentary images. Occasionally someone decides they'd like to order something additional, and that's perfectly fine—but it's never expected.
