Updated for the Class of 2009! Questions and Answers about our Senior Portrait Pricing: To answer your questions about our pricing and give you an idea of what you can plan to spend at Gray’s Mountain Studio, we created this page to help you budget for your senior portrait order. How much should I plan to spend at Gray’s Mountain Studio? We are not the cheapest studio in Lebanon County, but our prices are fair and reasonable. Our packages start at $280 and go up from there. The great thing about Gray’s Mountain Studio is that there is no minimum order – you can spend as much or as little as you want. Keep in mind that most seniors tend to spend between $300 and $700 when they place their order. Some spend more and some spend less, but the choice is always yours. How much are your 8X10 prints? We refer to an 8X10, 7X10 or 5X7 print as a Desk Portrait. These portraits are color adjusted and have basic retouching (blemish removal) done to enhance your portrait. Our base price of $56.00 per Desk Portrait is a fantastic value when you look at the amount of time that is spent on each print. To qualify for this price, the images must already be part of a package or be an additional print from a wall portrait pose. If you purchase a Desk Portrait that does not qualify under one of these guidelines, please add $22.00 to the print price for retouching and color correction. Do you have any Summer Specials? Yes, Gray's Mountain Studio will be offering our popular Summer Express Portrait Package again this summer. Check out the details by clicking here (ready on June 1): Summer Specials. The Summer Express Portrait Package, is an all inclusive senior portrait experience. It includes your senior portrait session and portrait package - all wrapped up in one very attractive price of only $189.00 At this special price, only one Summer Express Portrait Package per senior/customer. I had an outbreak of blemishes the day of my portrait session. Will they be on my wallets and other prints in my order? Murphy's Law of Senior Portraiture state that you will have a blemish the day of your senior portrait session. The good news is that Gray's Mountain Studio specializes in seniors portraits - and as a professional photography studio, we take great pride in the images that you take out of the studio. For that reason, all images in your portrait order are retouched to remove blemishes and soften facial lines. What makes your images so unique? First and foremost, Glen Gray is known nationally for his style of photography. This style is what makes the images unique and give them that special look. But that’s only half the story. The other half is the work that is done to your images after the portrait has been taken. An artist, usually Glen works on your images to bring out the beauty and intensity. Once this process is complete, the images are sent to be printed on Kodak professional paper* for a truly professional look. Finally, Glen personally looks at every image - only after it passes his critical eye does it leave the studio. * The only two exceptions to "all images are printed on Kodak Professional Paper" are: (1)the designer books are a four color process that is bound into a hardcover (or soft cover) book, and (2) watercolor and ARTprints that use a special process to give the images a painterly quality. How will I view and order my images? This is the fun part the your senior portrait experience (well, maybe not as fun your photo session, but it's right up there). Within a few days after your session we'll have your images ready to preview. At the studio you'll relive your portrait session when you view your images in a slide show complete with music. Then we'll help you select the images for your order and show you the special effects that Glen had in mind when he created the images. If you would like to order a preview booklet or coffee table book of your images - that can be done at that time. Your session fee includes three to four web images - perfect for MySpace, Face Book or your own website. What about my yearbook photograph? Your yearbook photograph is included with any portrait order. Plan your senior portrait session to give you plenty of time to meet your high school's yearbook deadline. Please note that rush charges and pose change charges may apply depending on your session and how close to your yearbook deadline you place your request for a yearbook image. No rush charges are applied to yearbook images if ordered within four weeks of the yearbook deadline. Please check with your yearbook to determine your yearbook’s deadline and image requirements. Note: If your pick a image for your yearbook picture that is not part of your order - the $26.00 enhancement fee applies. Jordan Pricing information subject to change without notice. |
